Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account data such as name, email, password hash, role, channel profile, and preferences.
• Transaction and entitlement data such as tokens balance, purchases, unlocks, refunds, creator ledger, payout status, and payment-provider identifiers. We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data such as follows, watch history, playback progress, saved titles, comments, uploads, moderation activity, and interactions.
• Technical and security data such as IP address, device/browser data, logs, cookie identifiers, and suspected fraud or abuse signals.
• Creator compliance data such as identity, tax, payout, rights, release, and legal-notice records where needed.

How we use information

• Provide accounts, playback, uploads, discovery, comments, billing, unlocks, creator analytics, and payouts.
• Secure the Platform; prevent fraud, abuse, infringement, and unauthorized access; enforce agreements.
• Communicate service, transaction, legal, moderation, and support messages.
• Comply with law, legal process, tax, sanctions, accounting, and rights-management obligations.
• Improve and measure Platform performance. We do not use private Creator Content to train general-purpose generative AI without separate opt-in.

Connected social accounts (GW Publisher)

Creators can connect a TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube account in Creator Studio so that GW Publisher can post the clips they make. You connect an account yourself, through that platform's own sign-in, and you can disconnect it at any time from Creator Studio or from the platform's app settings.

• What we receive: the account's ID, display name, username, and avatar, and the access tokens that let us act on the account's behalf. From TikTok we also read the posting settings TikTok returns for the account (such as which privacy levels it may use) each time you open the post screen.
• What we do with it: post only the clips you review and send yourself, with the caption and settings you choose. Where a platform provides them, we may read the views, likes, comments, and shares of those posts so you can see how they performed in Creator Studio. We do not read your other posts, your messages, or your followers' information, and we do not post anything you have not sent.
• Storage and deletion: access tokens are stored on our servers and used only for the purposes above. Disconnecting an account deletes its tokens from our systems. Records of clips already posted, and their performance numbers, remain part of your Creator Studio history unless you ask us to delete them at privacy@generatedworlds.com.
• We do not sell data received from connected accounts, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

Instagram (Meta)

When you connect an Instagram professional account from Publish content, you sign in with Instagram and grant Generated Worlds three permissions: instagram_business_basic, instagram_business_content_publish and instagram_business_manage_insights. Meta's handling of your information is described in the Meta Privacy Policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy).

• What we access: your account's ID, username, name, profile picture, and follower, following and post counts; account insights (views, reach, accounts engaged, interactions) for the last 28 days; insights for the Reels you publish through Generated Worlds; and permission to publish Reels you choose to your account.
• How we use it: to publish only the episodes you send from Publish content, with the caption you write, and to show you how your account and those Reels are doing in Creator Studio. We do not read or send direct messages, reply to or moderate comments, or post anything you have not sent.
• Sharing: we do not sell Instagram data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it for advertising or to train AI models. It is processed only by the service providers that host our servers and database.
• Storage: we store the account's access token and, for each Reel you publish through us, its media ID and link. The insights you see are read from Instagram each time you open the page and are not kept.
• Data deletion: disconnect the account in Creator Studio > Publish content > Instagram (the × next to it) to delete its token immediately, or remove Generated Worlds in Instagram under Settings > Website permissions > Apps and websites; the next time we try to use the account we detect it and delete the token. To have everything we hold about the account deleted, including the record of Reels published through us, email privacy@generatedworlds.com from your account's email with the subject "Instagram data deletion"; we confirm and delete within 30 days.

YouTube (YouTube API Services)

When you connect a YouTube channel, Generated Worlds uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

Generated Worlds' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

• What we access: your channel's ID, name, and profile picture; its public statistics (subscribers, total views, number of videos); YouTube Analytics reports for your channel and for the videos you upload through Generated Worlds (views, watch time, likes, comments, shares, subscribers gained); and permission to upload videos you choose to your channel.
• How we use it: to upload only the episodes you send from Publish content, with the title, description, and settings you choose, and to show you how your channel and those videos are doing in Creator Studio. We do not upload, edit, or delete anything you have not sent, and we do not read your comments, messages, or subscribers' personal information.
• Sharing: we do not sell YouTube data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. It is shared only with the service providers that host our servers and database, under confidentiality obligations.
• Storage and deletion: we store the channel's access tokens and, for each video you upload through us, its YouTube video ID and link. The statistics you see are read from YouTube each time you open the page and are not kept. Disconnecting the channel in Creator Studio deletes its tokens immediately. You can also revoke Generated Worlds' access at any time at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions; the next time we try to use the channel we detect the revocation and delete its tokens. You can ask us to delete the rest at privacy@generatedworlds.com.

Legal bases and choices

Where applicable, processing is based on performance of our contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Platform, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. You may withdraw consent without affecting prior processing.

Sharing

• Creators receive limited information necessary to provide purchased access and channel services; they do not receive your full payment credentials.
• Service providers may process data for payments, cloud hosting, content delivery, security, communications, analytics, support, and professional advice under appropriate restrictions.
• We may disclose data to authorities, rights holders, counterparties, or others when reasonably necessary for law, safety, fraud prevention, claims, corporate transactions, or enforcement.
• We do not sell personal information for money. If future practices constitute selling or targeted-ad sharing under applicable law, we will provide required notices and opt-outs before doing so.

Requests from public authorities

We disclose personal information to a government or public authority only when the law requires it, and we handle every such request as follows.

• Legality review: each request is reviewed, with legal counsel where needed, to confirm it is valid, issued under a proper legal basis, and within the requesting authority's jurisdiction before anything is disclosed.
• Challenging unlawful requests: we challenge or decline requests we consider unlawful, overly broad, or not properly issued, using the legal remedies available to us.
• Data minimization: where we must disclose, we disclose only the minimum information necessary to comply with the specific request.
• Documentation: we keep a record of each request, our response, the legal reasoning behind it, and the people involved.
• Where the law allows, we notify the affected user before disclosing their information.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Platform and for legitimate legal, tax, accounting, fraud, security, dispute, backup, and rights-management purposes. Retention varies by record type. Content and account data may persist in backups for a limited period after deletion.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the data. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for strong credentials and prompt compromise reporting.

International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on recognized transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses with the service providers that process data on our behalf.

Your rights

Depending on location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or appeal of a privacy decision. You may also have rights concerning targeted advertising, sale/sharing, or automated decisions. Submit requests to privacy@generatedworlds.com. We may verify identity and retain data where an exception applies.

Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 13 and accounts require legal adulthood under the Viewer Terms. If we learn that we collected a child’s personal information contrary to law, we will take appropriate deletion or consent steps.
